It's free and can be found in most stores, the Interpretive Center, and the Visitors Center. It's really good reading and will point more people to the Weatherwax.

Welcome to the website for Weatherwax, the crown jewel of Ocean Shores, presented by the Ocean Shores Citizens for Balanced Growth.

We are working to preserve this beautiful Weatherwax property in its entirety for public use in the form of trails through our own rainforest, unspoiled lake frontage for boaters viewing and possible deep water launching and docking, and a home to countless animals and birds.

This property is being threatened by plans to divide it and sell off one part for a gated development, put golf holes on another, and use the money obtained from the sale to benefit city goals. This would be a great shame for the citizens of Ocean Shores to lose forever this unspoiled section right in the heart of our city.

This website is dedicated to informing the public about the land and giving you a place to obtain current news items and valuable information on our efforts to protect Weatherwax.
