Weatherwax, Ocean Shores WA own rain forest Due to the clear, strong message sent by the residents of the Ocean Shores with a vote to "retain the weatherwax", as well as letters to the editors from people in surrounding areas and visitors from near and far, the city has been given a clear path to follow to preserve and protect the Weatherwax, our unique coastal rain forest.

This took a great deal of work, not only from our group of dedicated volunteers, but also citizen support with individual and business contributions to the cause.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every person who supported this effort in any and every way.
